We use the AccessibilityService API to block gambling-related websites and apps, and we employ VpnService to direct user traffic through a secure tunnel towards our DNS resolver database. This approach effectively prevents access to online gambling platforms.
Uninstall App with PIN Protection
Once a user enables PIN protection, uninstalling the application will be blocked. Unauthorized users will not be able to remove the app by dragging it on the home screen, from the settings screen, or even from the Play Store.
Users can uninstall the application from within the app by providing the correct PIN set during PIN protection setup.
Secured Data Transmission with VPN Service
Stopjeu prioritizes user data security. When utilizing the VPN Service, all user traffic is routed through a secure tunnel to our DNS resolver database, ensuring the encryption and security of the data transmitted. This encrypted tunnel prevents unauthorized access and safeguards user data from potential threats.
What Types of Data Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?
We collect non-personal information, such as IP address, GUID, User Agent, and Tracker Data. We use this data to block gambling-related websites and apps, and to improve the STOPJEU products and services.
How Can Users Control Their Data?
Users can disable accessibility permissions at any time by clicking on “disable.” They can also uninstall the STOPJEU app by pressing the uninstall button inside the app and providing their PIN code.
AccessibilityService API
Stopjeu uses the AccessibilityService API to detect when the user is about to uninstall the app. This is necessary to prevent the user from uninstalling the app without their PIN code.
